South Australian Numbered Acts South Australian Numbered Acts34—Cancellation of witness identity protection certificate
(1) If, in relation to
proceedings, the chief officer of a law enforcement agency considers that it
is no longer necessary or appropriate to prevent the disclosure of the
identity of a local operative or where he or she lives, the chief officer may
cancel a witness identity protection certificate in respect of the
local operative.
(2) If a
witness identity protection certificate is cancelled after it has been filed
in court under section 37, the chief officer must immediately give
written notice to the court and each party to the proceedings that the
certificate has been cancelled.
