22—Connection for purposes of making restraining orders
(1) This section
applies to a person against whom a restraining order is sought or proposed to
be made under a participating jurisdiction’s restraining orders laws.
(2) The person has a
connection with a cross-border region, including for the purposes of a
proceeding in a prescribed court of the jurisdiction for the making of the
order, if—
(a) that
person ordinarily resides in the region; or
(b) the
person for whose benefit the order is sought or is proposed to be made
ordinarily resides in the region.
