convicted of an offence against this Act and after that conviction the act or
omission of that person that constituted the offence continues, the person is
guilty of a further offence, and is liable to an additional penalty for each
day on which the act or omission continues of an amount not exceeding
one-tenth of the maximum penalty for the offence of which the person was
convicted.
(2) For the purposes
of subsection (1), an obligation to do something is to be regarded as
continuing until the act is done, notwithstanding that any period within
which, or time before which, the act is required to be done, has expired or
passed.
