South Australian Numbered Acts South Australian Numbered Acts (1) An officer of
SACFS, an authorised officer, a fire prevention officer or a
fire control officer may at any reasonable time, after giving reasonable
notice to the occupier of the land or premises, enter any land or premises for
the purpose of determining what measures have been taken on that land or in
those premises for the prevention, control or suppression of fire or for the
prevention of, or for dealing with, the escape of any hazardous materials.
(2) An officer of
SACFS, an authorised officer, a fire prevention officer or a
fire control officer exercising a power under this section must, at the
request of a person affected by the exercise of the power, produce his or her
certificate of identity or other authority to exercise the power.
(3) In this
section—
"authorised officer" means a person authorised by the Chief Officer to
exercise the powers of an authorised officer under this section.
