22—Offences by bodies corporate
(1) If a body
corporate commits an offence against this Act, each member of the governing
body, and the manager, of the body corporate are guilty of an offence and
liable to the same penalty as is prescribed for the principal offence unless
it is proved that the principal offence did not result from failure on his or
her part to take reasonable and practicable measures to prevent the commission
of the offence.
(2) A person may be
prosecuted and convicted of an offence under this section whether or not the
body corporate has been prosecuted or convicted of the offence committed by
the body corporate.
