38—Powers of authorised officers
An authorised officer may, at any reasonable time, exercise any of the
following powers in relation to the operations of the irrigation trust by whom
he or she has been appointed:
(a)
enter any land for the purpose of exercising his or her powers under this
section;
(b)
inspect any material on land that the authorised officer believes to be of a
kind that has entered, or may enter, an irrigation or drainage system of the
trust and take samples of the material;
(c)
inspect any channels, pipes, buildings, structures, fittings, equipment,
tanks, ponds, dams or other facilities for holding water comprising part of an
irrigation or drainage system or that are used in or in relation to an
irrigation or drainage of land;
(d) take
photographs, films or video recordings;
(e) ask
any person any question relating to the operation of an irrigation or
drainage system.
