INDUSTRIAL HEMP ACT 2017 (NO 15 OF 2017) - SECT 11

11—Determination of licence application

        (1)         After considering an application and carrying out an investigation under section 9

, the Chief Executive must determine the application by—

            (a)         granting the application and issuing an industrial hemp licence or a special licence to the applicant; or

            (b)         refusing the application.

        (2)         The Chief Executive must—

            (a)         notify the applicant in writing of the decision under subsection (1)

; and

            (b)         if the Chief Executive refuses an application under subsection (1)(b)

, provide reasons for the decision.
