12—Disciplinary action—retired justices
(1) There is proper
cause for taking disciplinary action against a person who uses the title "JP
(Retired)", or any other title that suggests that the person is a retired
justice, in contravention of a code of conduct.
(2) If the Governor is
satisfied that there is proper cause for taking disciplinary action against
such a person, the Governor may, by notice in writing, do one or more of the
following:
(a)
reprimand the person;
(b)
prohibit the person from using "JP (Retired)", or any other title or
description that suggests that the person was a justice, together with his or
her name or signature.
