Schedule 1—Related amendments and transitional provisions

Part 1—Amendment of City of Adelaide Act 1998

1—Repeal of sections 32 and 33

Sections 32 and 33—delete the sections

2—Amendment of section 34—Financial reporting

        (1)         Section 34(2)—delete "corporate plan, rating policy" and substitute:

annual business plan

        (2)         Section 34(3)—delete "corporate plan, rating policy" and substitute:

annual business plan

Part 2—Amendment of Rates and Land Tax Remission Act 1986

3—Amendment of section 3—Interpretation

        (1)         Section 3, definition of council —delete " Local Government Act 1934 " and substitute:

Local Government Act 1999

        (2)         Section 3, definition of rates , (a)—delete paragraph (a) and substitute:

            (a)         any rates or charges payable under the Local Government Act 1999 for the provision or treatment of water or the removal of sewerage; and

4—Amendment of Schedule 1

Delete " Local Government Act 1934 " and substitute:

Local Government Act 1999

5—Amendment of Schedule 4

Delete " Local Government Act 1934 " and substitute:

Local Government Act 1999
