(1) Subject to
subsection (2), an order continues to operate despite the institution of
an appeal against the order under this Part.
(2) The Board may, on
the application of the appellant, vary or suspend an order, or make an order
restricting, or imposing conditions on, the treatment that may be administered
to the appellant, pending determination of the appeal, if the Board thinks
special reason exists for doing so.
