Section 61—after subsection (2) insert:
(2a) A person who is
appointed as a responsible officer under this section and who has not
previously attended a course of training recognised or approved by the
Advisory Committee for the purposes of this section must attend such a course
of training within 3 months after his or her appointment.
Maximum penalty: Division 7 fine.
(2b) The requirement
for a person to attend a course of training under subsection (2a) lapses
if the person ceases to be a responsible officer during the 3 month period
referred to in that subsection.
