17—Amendment of section 18—Invalidity retirement

        (1)         Section 18(1)—after "Where a" insert:

PSS 1 or PSS 2

        (2)         Section 18(1)—after "invalidity" insert:

that prevents the member from being able to carry out the duties of office to a reasonable degree

        (3)         Section 18(3)—delete subsection (3)
