STATUTES AMENDMENT (SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSION AND RETAIL AND COMMERCIAL LEASES) ACT 2024 (NO 65 OF 2024) - SECT 10

10—Insertion of section 4A

After section 4 insert:

4A—Objects of Commission

The objects of the Commission are to—

            (a)         deal with issues concerning the small business sector in an independent manner; and

            (b)         promote a fair operating environment in which small businesses can thrive; and

            (c)         provide small businesses with general advice and assistance; and

            (d)         facilitate the timely and cost-effective resolution of disputes involving small businesses through appropriate forms of alternative dispute resolution.
