STATUTES AMENDMENT (SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSION AND RETAIL AND COMMERCIAL LEASES) ACT 2024 (NO 65 OF 2024) - SECT 23

23—Amendment of section 3—Interpretation

        (1)         Section 3(1)—after the definition of "accounting period insert:

"alternative dispute resolution" includes mediation, but does not include arbitration or expert determination;

        (2)         Section 3(1)—after the definition of "collateral agreement insert:

"Commission" means the Small Business Commission established under section 3A of the Small Business Commission Act 2011

        (3)         Section 3(1), definition of "mediation"—delete the definition
