13—Amendment of section 31—Intervention by Commissioner of Police
Section 31(1)—delete subsection (1) and substitute:
(1) The Commissioner
of Police may intervene in any proceedings before the Commissioner on an
application under this Part for the purpose of introducing evidence or making
submissions and, in particular, may intervene on the question of—
(a)
whether a person is a fit and proper person; or
(b)
whether, if the application were to be granted, public disorder or disturbance
would be likely to result; or
(c)
whether to grant the application would be contrary to the public interest.
