Part 11 Division 1—before section 132 insert:
131A—Failing to leave licensed premises on request
(1) A person on
licensed premises who—
(a)
—
(i)
is under the age of 18 years and on the licensed premises
for the purpose of consuming liquor in contravention of this Act; or
(ii)
is intoxicated or behaving in an offensive or disorderly
manner; or
(iii)
is barred from the licensed premises under Part 9
Division 3; or
(iv)
is otherwise on the premises in contravention of this
Act; and
(b)
fails, without reasonable excuse, to leave the licensed premises immediately
on being requested to do so by an authorised person,
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty: $1 250.
(2) In this
section—
"authorised person" means—
(a) the
licensee; or
(b) a
responsible person for the licensed premises; or
(c) an
inspector or a police officer; or
(d) an
approved crowd controller.
