STATUTES AMENDMENT (CHILD SEX OFFENCES) ACT 2022 (NO 9 OF 2022) - SECT 11

11—Amendment of section 58—Acts of gross indecency

        (1)         Section 58(1)—delete "and liable for a first offence to be imprisoned for a term not exceeding three years and for any subsequent offence to be imprisoned for a term not exceeding five years"

        (2)         Section 58(1)—at the foot of the subsection insert:

Maximum penalty: Imprisonment for 15 years.
