South Australian Numbered Acts South Australian Numbered Acts(1) A water industry entity must, at the direction of the Minister, provide and maintain fire plugs, maintain various standards, and comply with any other requirements relating to the provision of water for fire-fighting purposes, in accordance with any scheme determined by the Minister for the purposes of this section.
Maximum penalty: $25 000.
(2) A scheme under subsection (1) may also require another person or body to make a contribution towards the costs incurred by a water industry entity in complying with the scheme (and any such requirement must be complied with by that person or body).
