In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
"Act" means the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 ;
"controlled substance" means a substance mentioned in—
(a)
Schedule 8 to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958 of the
Commonwealth; or
(b)
Schedule 4 to the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 of the
Commonwealth;
"intoxicant" means a beverage or other substance for human consumption that
contains alcohol (other than a substance for medical or pharmaceutical use);
"member of the workforce", in relation to a facility, has the meaning given in
clause 3 of Schedule 7 to the Act;
"registered medical practitioner" means a person who is registered on the
general register or the specialist register (or both) under the
Medical Practice Act 2004 ;
"registered nurse" means a person who is registered under the
Nurses Act 1999 ;
"registered pharmacist" means a person who is registered as a pharmacist under
the Pharmacists Act 1991 ;
"therapeutic drug" means a drug that—
(a) may
be prescribed by a registered medical practitioner; or
(b) may
be sold without a prescription prepared by a registered medical practitioner.
