Administrative Arrangements (Conferral of Ministerial
Functions and Powers) Proclamation 2008
under section 6 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1994
This proclamation may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements
(Conferral of Ministerial Functions and Powers)
Proclamation 2008.
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is
made.
3—Conferral of ministerial
functions and powers
(1) The ministerial functions and powers associated with the
administration of the following funds are conferred on the Minister for Regional
Development:
(a) the Regional Development Infrastructure Fund
(RDIF);
(b) the Upper Spencer Gulf & Outback Enterprise Zone Fund (USG
& OEZ);
(c) the Rural Town Development Fund (RTDF).
(2) The ministerial functions and powers associated with the
administration of the Innovation and Investment Fund for South Australia
(IIFSA) are conferred on the Minister for Industry and
Trade.
(3) Subclauses (1) and (2) do not extend to—
(a) the power to enter into or create a contract or other instrument to
apply money from RDIF, USG & OEZ, RTDF or IIFSA (which will continue to be
exercised by the Treasurer); or
(b) the functions and powers associated with the administration of any
such contract or other instrument (which will continue to be performed or
exercised by the Treasurer).
