Administrative Arrangements (Certain References to and Assets of Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government) Proclamation 2020
under sections 7 and 8 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1994
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements (Certain References to and Assets of Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government) Proclamation 2020.
2—Commencement
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is made.
3—References to and Assets of Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government under Urban Renewal Act 1995
(1) The assets, rights and liabilities of the former body corporate known as the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government relating to the administration of the Urban Renewal Act 1995
are transferred to the Treasurer.
(2) A reference to the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Local Government in the Urban Renewal Act 1995
, or in a statutory instrument under that Act, or in any other kind of instrument, or a contract, agreement or other document, made or entered into for the purposes of that Act before the effective date will have effect as if it were a reference to the Treasurer.
(3) In this clause—
effective date means the date on which this proclamation comes into operation.
