Proclamation 2009
This proclamation may be cited as the Children's Protection
(Implementation of Report Recommendations) Amendment Act (Commencement)
Proclamation 2009.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Children's Protection (Implementation of Report
Recommendations) Amendment Act 2009 (No 65 of 2009) will
come into operation on 31 December 2009.
(2) The operation of the following provisions of the Act is suspended
until a day or time or days or times to be fixed by subsequent proclamation or
proclamations:
(a) section 4;
(b) section 5(1) and (2);
(c) section 7;
(d) section 8;
(e) section 9;
(f) section 20.
