Education (Compulsory Education Age) Amendment Act
(Commencement) Proclamation 2008
This proclamation may be cited as the Education (Compulsory Education
Age) Amendment Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2008.
(1) Subject to subclause (2), the Education (Compulsory Education Age)
Amendment Act 2007 (No 51 of 2007) will come into operation on 1 January
2009.
(2) The following provisions of the Act will come into operation on 1 July
2008:
(a) sections 1 to 8 (inclusive);
(b) section 9(2), (3) and (4);
(c) section 10;
(d) section 11;
(e) section 12(3);
(f) section 17;
(g) section 18.
