Election of Senators (Fixing of Dates) Proclamation 2013
under section 2 of the Election of Senators Act 1903
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Election of Senators (Fixing of Dates) Proclamation 2013.
2—Commencement
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is made.
3—Fixing of dates for 2013 election
The following dates are fixed for the purposes of the election of 6 Senators for the State of South Australia:
(a) 5 August 2013 as the date for the issue of the writ;
(b) 12 August 2013 as the date for the close of the electoral rolls;
(c) 15 August 2013 as the date for the nomination of candidates;
(d) 7 September 2013 as the date for the polling;
(e) 13 November 2013 as the date on or before which the writ must be returned.
