Emergency Services Funding (Declaration of Levy for
Vehicles and Vessels) Notice 2006
under section 24 of the Emergency Services Funding Act 1998
This notice may be cited as the Emergency Services Funding (Declaration
of Levy for Vehicles and Vessels) Notice 2006.
This notice comes into operation on the day on which it is made.
This notice applies in relation to the 2006/2007 financial year.
4—Declaration of levy in respect
of vehicles and vessels
For the purposes of section 24 of the Emergency Services Funding
Act 1998—
(a) motor vehicles are divided into classes referred to in Schedule 1
(being the same classes as the Premium Class Code published by the Motor
Accident Commission); and
(b) the amount of the levy in respect of each such class of motor vehicle
is as specified in Schedule 1; and
(c) the amount of the levy in respect of vessels is $12.
