Essential Services (Extension of Period of Emergency) Proclamation 2016
under section 3 of the Essential Services Act 1981
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Essential Services (Extension of Period of Emergency) Proclamation 2016.
2—Commencement
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is made.
3—Extension of period of emergency
In accordance with section 3 of the Essential Services Act 1981
the period declared as a period of emergency in respect of specified essential services (being the production, distribution and supply of electricity) by the Essential Services (Declaration of Period of Emergency) Proclamation 2016
(see Gazette 29.09.2016 p3924) is extended for a further period of 7 days.
