Murray-Darling Basin Act (Commencement)
Proclamation 2008
This proclamation may be cited as the Murray-Darling Basin Act
(Commencement) Proclamation 2008.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Murray-Darling Basin Act 2008 (No 41 of 2008)
will come into operation on 15 December 2008.
(2) The operation of Part 5 of Schedule 1 of that Act is
suspended until a day or time or days or times to be fixed by subsequent
proclamation or proclamations.
