National Parks and Wildlife (Lashmar Conservation Park)
Variation Proclamation 2003
under section 43(4) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972
1 By proclamation made under sections 30 and 43 of the National Parks
and Wildlife Act 1972 on 16 September 1993 (see Gazette 16.9.1993
p1128), the following land was constituted as the Lashmar Conservation
Park:
Section 76, Hundred of Dudley, County of Carnarvon
2 The proclamation provided that rights of entry, prospecting, exploration
or mining under the Mining Act 1971 could in certain circumstances
be acquired or exercised in relation to that land.
3 It is now intended that the proclamation be varied so that such rights
are no longer able to be acquired or exercised in relation to that
land.
4 A resolution requesting the making of this proclamation has been passed
by both the House of Assembly and the Legislative Council.
Part 1—Preliminary
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the National Parks and Wildlife
(Lashmar Conservation Park) Variation Proclamation 2003.
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is
made.
In this proclamation, a provision under a heading referring to the
variation of a specified proclamation varies the proclamation so
specified.
