National Parks and Wildlife (Gawler Ranges National Park
and Lake Gairdner National Park) Proclamation 2007
under section 28(2) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972
1 The land defined in Schedule 1 forms part of the Gawler Ranges National
Park.
2 It is intended that, by this proclamation, the land be excluded from the
Park.
3 It is also intended that, by this proclamation, the land defined in
Schedule 2 be added to the Lake Gairdner National Park.
4 A resolution requesting the making of this proclamation has been passed
by both the House of Assembly and the Legislative Council.
This proclamation may be cited as the National Parks and Wildlife
(Gawler Ranges National Park and Lake Gairdner National Park)
Proclamation 2007.
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is
made.
3—Alteration of boundaries of
Gawler Ranges National Park
The boundaries of the Gawler Ranges National Park are altered by excluding
from the Park the land defined in Schedule 1.
4—Alteration of boundaries of Lake
Gairdner National Park
The boundaries of the Lake Gairdner National Park are altered by adding to
the Park the Crown land defined in Schedule 2.
Schedule 1—Land to be excluded from Gawler Ranges
National Park
Allotment 500 of Deposited Plan 59476, Out of Hundreds (Yardea), being
allotment 500 of approved plan No. DP 59476, Out of Hundreds (Yardea),
lodged in the Lands Titles Registration Office.
Schedule 2—Land to be added to Lake Gairdner
National Park
Pieces 102 and 103 of approved plan No. DP 67746, Out of Hundreds (Yardea),
lodged in the Lands Titles Registration Office.
