Natural Resources Management Act (Suspension of Repeal of
Specified Provisions of Another Act) Proclamation 2005
under clause 43(2) of Schedule 4 of the Natural Resources Management Act 2004
1 Clause 43 of Schedule 4 of the Natural Resources Management
Act 2004 is to come into operation on 1 July 2005.
2 Subclause (2) of clause 43 of Schedule 4 of that Act provides that the
Governor may, by proclamation, suspend the repeal of specified provisions of an
Act that would otherwise be repealed by force of subclause (1) of that
clause.
3 It is expedient that the repeal of specified provisions of the Water
Resources Act 1997 be so suspended.
This proclamation may be cited as the Natural Resources Management Act
(Suspension of Repeal of Specified Provisions of Another Act)
Proclamation 2005.
This proclamation will come into operation on 1 July 2005.
3—Suspension of specified
provisions
The repeal of Parts 1 and 8 of the Water Resources Act 1997 is
suspended until a day to be fixed by subsequent proclamation.
