Office for the Ageing (Adult Safeguarding) Amendment Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2019
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Office for the Ageing (Adult Safeguarding) Amendment Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2019.
2—Commencement of Act and suspension of certain provisions
(1) Subject to subclause (2)
, the Office for the Ageing (Adult Safeguarding) Amendment Act 2018
(No 34 of 2018) comes into operation on 1 February 2019.
(2) The operation of the following provisions of the Act is suspended until a day or time or days or times to be fixed by subsequent proclamation or proclamations:
(a) section 4;
(b) section 5;
(c) section 6 (but only insofar as it inserts Parts 3 to 7 (inclusive) into the Office for the Ageing Act 1995
);
(d) section 7;
(e) Schedule 1.
