Statutes Amendment (Honesty and Accountability in
Government) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2004
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Honesty and
Accountability in Government) Act (Commencement) Proclamation
2004.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Statutes Amendment (Honesty and Accountability in Government)
Act 2003 (No 36 of 2003) (the Amendment Act) will come into
operation on 29 April 2004.
(2) The operation of—
(a) sections 6H and 6L of the Public Sector Management
Act 1995 (inserted into the Public Sector Management
Act 1995 by section 21 of the Amendment Act); and
(b) section 28 of the Amendment Act,
is suspended until a day or days to be fixed by subsequent proclamation or
proclamations.
