Statutes Amendment and Repeal (Fair Trading) Act
(Commencement) Proclamation 2009
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment and Repeal
(Fair Trading) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2009.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Statutes Amendment and Repeal (Fair Trading) Act 2009
(No 39 of 2009) will come into operation on
3 September 2009.
(2) The operation of the following provisions of the Act is suspended
until a day or time or days or times to be fixed by subsequent proclamation or
proclamations:
(a) section 7;
(b) section 8;
(c) section 11(1);
(d) section 34;
(e) section 36;
(f) section 59;
(g) section 60.
