Statutes Amendment (Serious Firearm Offences) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2012
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Serious Firearm Offences) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2012.
2—Commencement of Act and suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Statutes Amendment (Serious Firearm Offences) Act 2012 (No 33 of 2012) will come into operation on 15 October 2012.
(2) The operation of the following sections of the Act is suspended until a day or time or days or times to be fixed by subsequent proclamation or proclamations:
(a) sections 4 to 23 (inclusive);
(b) sections 29 and 30;
(c) sections 32 to 37 (inclusive).
