Statutes Amendment (Road Safety Reforms) (Commencement)
Proclamation 2003
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Road Safety
Reforms) (Commencement) Proclamation 2003.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Statutes Amendment (Road Safety Reforms) Act 2003 (No 8 of
2003) (the Amendment Act) will come into operation on 19 September
2003.
(2) The operation of—
(a) sections 5 to 23 (inclusive) of the Amendment Act; and
(b) section 25 of the Amendment Act; and
(c) sections 27 to 34 (inclusive) of the Amendment Act,
are suspended until a day to be fixed by subsequent proclamation.
