Wilderness Protection (Hincks Wilderness Protection Area)
Proclamation 2004
under section 22(1) of the Wilderness Protection Act 1992
1 The land described in Schedule 1 forms part of a reserve (the Hincks
Conservation Park) under the National Parks and Wildlife
Act 1972.
2 It is intended that, by this proclamation, the land be constituted as a
wilderness protection area under the Wilderness Protection
Act 1992.
3 On being so constituted, the land will cease to form part of a reserve
under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 (see section
22(7) of the Wilderness Protection Act 1992).
This proclamation may be cited as the Wilderness Protection (Hincks
Wilderness Protection Area) Proclamation 2004.
This proclamation comes into operation on the day on which it is made
immediately after the National Parks and Wildlife (Hincks Conservation Park)
Proclamation 2004 and the National Parks and Wildlife (Hincks
Conservation Park—Mining Rights) Proclamation 2004, made on the same
day, have come into operation.

Wilderness Protection Area
The land described in Schedule 1 is constituted as a wilderness protection
area and is assigned the name Hincks Wilderness Protection
Area.
