15—Reinstatement of registration
(1) If the Commission
is satisfied that the registration of a business name has been cancelled as
the result of an error on its part, the Commission may reinstate the
registration of the business name and, in that event, the registration is to
be taken to have continued in force without having been cancelled.
(2) If, in the case of
a business name registered in relation to a body corporate, the Commission is
satisfied that—
(a) the
registration of the business name has been cancelled as the result of ASIC
having cancelled the registration of the body corporate; and
(b) ASIC
has reinstated the registration of the body corporate,
the Commission may reinstate the registration of the business name and, in
that event, the registration is to be taken to have continued in force without
having been cancelled.
