This legislation has been repealed.
(1) The Commission
may, with the approval of the Minister, from time to time make an agreement
with ASIC about any matter in relation to the administration of this Act.
(2) The agreement may
contain delegations by the Commission of functions or powers under this Act.
(3) A delegation by
the Commission for the purposes of the agreement—
(a) has
effect subject to the conditions specified in the agreement; and
(b) may
be varied or revoked by the Commission in accordance with the terms of the
agreement; and
(c) does
not prevent the Commission from acting in any matter.
(4) This section does
not purport to impose a duty on ASIC to perform any functions or exercise any
powers conferred or expressed to be conferred on it by or under this Act if
the imposition of the duty would be beyond the legislative power of the
Parliament of the State.
