This legislation has been repealed.

COUNTRY FIRES ACT 1989 - SECT 5

5—Non-derogation

The provisions of this Act do not derogate from—

            (a)         the provisions of the Native Vegetation Management Act 1985 ;

            (b)         the provisions of any other Act that relate to—

                  (i)         fire prevention or safety in the State;

                  (ii)         the installation, maintenance or servicing of any fire-fighting, or fire prevention, equipment;

                  (iii)         investigations into the cause of any fire.
