IRRIGATION ACT 1994 - SECT 64

64—Authority may remit interest and discount charges

        (1)         Where, in an authority's opinion, the payment of interest would cause hardship, the authority may remit the whole, or part, of the interest.

        (2)         An authority may discount charges to encourage early payment of the charges.
