(1) An application for
a guarantee, grant, loan or other assistance under this Act must be made to
the Treasurer, and the applicant must furnish the Treasurer, or the Committee,
as the case may require, with all information required by the Treasurer or the
Committee in relation to the industry or business in respect of which the
guarantee, grant, loan or other assistance is required.
(2) If any person in
connection with an application for a guarantee, grant, loan or other
assistance wilfully or negligently furnishes to the Treasurer, or the
Committee, any false or misleading information, that person is guilty of an
offence.
Penalty: $500.
