This legislation has been repealed.
12—Delegation of functions and powers
(1) The Board may
delegate any of its functions or powers except those relating to
investigations and inquiries under Part 4.
(2) A delegation under
this section—
(a) may
be made—
(i)
to a member, to the Registrar or to an officer or
employee of the Board; or
(ii)
to a committee established by the Board under this Act;
and
(b) may
be made subject to such conditions as the Board thinks fit; and
(c) is
revocable at will; and
(d) does
not derogate from the power of the Board to act in any matter itself.
(3) A person to whom
functions or powers are delegated under this section is disqualified from
acting in pursuance of the delegation in relation to any matter in which that
person has a personal interest or a direct or indirect pecuniary interest.
