This legislation has been repealed.
11—Time for instituting proceedings
(1) A prosecution for
an offence under this Act or the principal Act may be commenced at any time
within two years after the date of the alleged commission of the offence or,
with the authorisation of the Attorney-General, at any later time within three
years after the date of the alleged commission of the offence.
(2) An apparently
genuine document purporting to be signed by the Attorney-General and to
authorise the commencement of proceedings for an offence under this Act or
the principal Act will be accepted in any legal proceedings, in the absence of
proof to the contrary, as proof of the authorisation.
