33—Power to lessen or discontinue supply
Whenever the quantity of water available for supply under this Act has been,
or is likely to be, diminished so as to render it necessary or expedient in
the opinion of the Corporation to lessen the quantity of water supplied, the
Corporation may, with the approval of the Minister, and after giving public
notice of the intention so to do—
(a)
lessen the supply of water throughout the whole or any part of any
water district, to such extent, for such time, and in such manner as the
Corporation shall think proper; or
(b)
lessen the supply to any particular class or classes of consumers supplied
under agreement; or
(c) for
such time as the Corporation shall think proper, discontinue the supply for
any particular purpose.
