                     Civil Liability Amendment Bill 2019

Clause 1   Short title
           The short title of this Bill is the Civil Liability Amendment Bill 2019.

Clause 2   Commencement
           The amendment included in this Bill will commence on the day it receives Royal
           Assent.

Clause 3   Principal Act
           The reference in Clause 4 of this Bill to the “Principal Act” is a reference to the
           Civil Liability Act 2002.

Clause 4   Section 19 amended (interpretation)
           This clause provides a new definition of the term recreational activity.
