(1) On receipt of a memorandum under section 62 or a memorandum under a law of another State or a Territory corresponding to that section, in relation to the discharge of an order for the adoption of a person, the Registrar shall(a) cause the entry made in relation to that person in the special record to be cancelled; and(b) cause the endorsement made pursuant to section 63 (4) (b) on the entry of the birth of that person in the register to be cancelled.(c) . . . . . . . .(2) On receipt of a memorandum under section 62 in relation to the discharge of an order for the adoption of a person who was born in a place other than Tasmania or another State or a Territory, the Registrar shall cause the entry made in relation to that person in the special record to be cancelled.
