(1) The Governor, if satisfied that the Council has been consulted, may make regulations for the purposes of this Act.(2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the regulations may make provision for or with respect to (a) the election of members of the Council; and(b) the conduct, control and management by the Council of the Settlement Point cemetery shown on Plan 4806 in the Central Plan Register.(3) The regulations may be made so as to apply differently according to matters, limitations or restrictions, whether as to time, circumstance or otherwise, specified in the regulations.(4) The regulations may authorise any matter to be from time to time determined, applied or regulated by the Council.(5) The regulations may contain provisions of a savings or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of this Act.(6) A provision referred to in subsection (5) may, if the regulations so provide, take effect from the commencement of this Act or a later date.
