A person who is guilty of an offence.(a) signs his or her name as a witness on a blank electoral paper; or(b) signs his or her name as a witness on an electoral paper which has been wholly or partly completed unless it has been signed by the person intended to sign it; or(c) signs his or her name as a witness on an electoral paper unless he or she has seen the person, whose signature he or she purports to witness, sign it; or(d) writes on an electoral paper as his or her own name (i) the name of another person; or(ii) any name not being his or her own name Penalty: Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or both.
