(1) The Commission is to appoint, in respect of each Assembly division and Council division, such polling places as the Commission considers appropriate for the conduct of an election in relation to that division.(2) The Commission may appoint, in respect of an Assembly division or a Council division, a polling place which is located outside the boundaries of that division.(3) The Commission may, subject to subsection (4) , terminate the appointment of a polling place in respect of an Assembly division or a Council division.(4) The Commission is not to terminate the appointment of a polling place in respect of a division between the issue of the writ and the return of the writ for an election in respect of that division, unless it is necessary to do so for circumstances beyond the Commission's control.(5) The Commission is to, as soon as practicable, publish in the Gazette notice of an appointment or a termination of an appointment made under this section.
