(1) A person must not handle food intended for sale in a manner that will render, or is likely to render, the food unsafe.Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 2 500 penalty units.(2) A person must not sell food that is unsafe.Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 2 500 penalty units.
